ParticipantCustomer phoned me to say that the dryer doesn’t do what it is supposed to do and she struggled to describe the fault, I went to visit the address to look at the dryer to get perspective of the fault.
It became clear that it is hard to describe the fault, from what I can gather on what it appears that the touch pad on the control panel sometimes works and sometimes it doesn’t. sometimes you only need to hover near the button for it to activate, sometimes you need to touch it and it doesn’t activate.
I cleaned the panel to remove any conflicts such as grime or smear both inside and out. It made small improvements, I checked the springing contact sensors and it looks decent but then I am not expert on touch sensors.
I think the dryer works fine but according to the customer that it does work for like 10 mins then it terminates. I tried every method to trigger the 10 mins termination action and nothing happened except it behaves well for me.
I am not sure if it needed a new touch control panel or something else? Any advice?
thanks

ParticipantNo fault codes.
with regards to termination, it ended the cycle as it has completed.
I need to return to the job to get some perspective but with heat pump dryer it takes so long to get it up to full pelt.

ParticipantI knew you sent me the manual, just a case of me needing to locate it. It’s good to have a reference point to find in the files. Thank you

ParticipantI don’t think the service manual would help me in this case as the fascia display panel isn’t responding at all and it all lights up and being garbled.
Although the service manual would be great if you can resend it and I will make sure I store it safely.
looking at fascia panel diagram ref 1563, Aswo part number 2992401801 – would this be the one that can solve this strange fault?
many thanks

Moderatorto check any part with Beko would need serial no as well
also it could be the panel but you cant overlook the possibility of it being the main board or the cable between the 2
although from the description it does sound more like a panel
