KeymasterI need a volunteer or three for a little experiment I want to trial please.
I would ideally like a few people that don’t have a website, although it’s not a pre-requisite, so I can trial a page created to direct enquiries to from the repairer search function.
I’ll obviously have to have a list of postcodes you cover, what machines you do and what brands you want to highlight for repairs.

Okay, so I decided to try this out with NW as I can sorta do what I like with that. 🙂
So here’s how this works and there’s two reasons for looking at it asides from the main one, which I’m sure anyone should get…
I do a page and optimise it for the web that becomes a “landing page” for the engineer search, the example of NWAR is here
I can then create what is, in essence, a glorified business card for the guys online which is a huge benefit to the people that don’t have a website.
However, it also screams out that you are listed and approved by UKW (the site that the punter found you on) and in this case, that you’re a WTA approved engineer as well.
What I’m hoping to do is to drive more and more online traffic to the indies and away from the “other competing services” that are out there.

See Barrie, now all you have to do is fill in the blank bits and let me know what images you want there.
Have fun. 🙂

Heh, I’ll add them all. 🙂
Thing is, it just validates that, “yep, that’s a good company” idea in the customer’s head.
May as well use it, the first day that page was up, before I really even told anyone, it’d had 80 odd hits. I’m awaiting the analytics on how it goes over time and, a page on here serves as a quality inbound link for your own site as well. 😉
