    Hi,

    Can anyone supply a part number for a Bosch starter device.

    Will the older relay type starters fit where these brown coloured devices fit.

    Do you mean a brown plastic cased ptc device which fits onto the terminals on top of the motor? I have one I bought for a slimline Bosch about ten years ago. The old one was burnt and the motor was running slow, so I replaced it but it made no difference. When nothing else worked to fix that damn’ machine I whipped my starter back off and have taken it to almost every Bosch dw job since just in case but never had to use it!     Part number is 1801932.

    Not seen one close up but checking on the older Hotpoint/Bosch machines it shows three different, non interchangeable relays.

    Wiring diagram mentions a PTC starting device.
