Try their washers, I’m getting expert at putting motors in from underneath the machine. Serial motor failures, sometimes on first wash 😛

Do these machines have a out of balance sensor also? had a question from someone today that was telling me they have one that only spins now and then.

I think Helo will tell you that it’s a pcb/software fault.

Thx penguin,so they would need a new pcb. Are they needing setup like the indesit/hotpoint modules?

ParticipantRe: Haier
yes, they do have an OOB load detector and it is quite sensitive.

ParticipantRe: Haier
So is the sensor on the pcb? If so then a new PCB will surely have the same sensor?.
Can they not be bypassed?
thx.September 29, 2009 at 1:08 pm #297903robbra
ParticipantRe: Haier
Like many it is within the motor circuit and relies on the motor revolving smoothly before the spin and therefore smaller loads that tend to drop more in the distribute cycle disturb the rotation and trigger the oob situation. Making sure the belt is tensioned on some makes, not possible on a Haier, can cure it but it is set on the pcb when manufactured and cannot be bypassed. The best way to test is to set on spin empty and if it spins then the loads are causing the no spin and best solution is to increase the size of loads being washed
