ParticipantBeen to this built in D/W and the reciculation pump is faulty. I’ve got a new one but the wiring plug is different. The old one has three wires coming out of the motor into the motor plug, whereas the new one only has two. They both have a capacitor bolted on the side. The old motor has a wire that goes directly from the capacitor to the motor plug, but the new one both capacitor wires go directly into the motor and then two come out into the plug. 😕 If that makes any sense. Just wondering how to wire two wires to three if you know what I mean. Any ideas? Hopefully
Mark. Oh the model no is WQP12CBE Serial no 2460302270145

Which part number have you recieved Mark ?
It should be 0124000051 according to the info I have, check the picture on Connect’s site if you have access, it looks to me like it has three terminals in the plug 🙂

ParticipantAccording to the packaging it is a 0124000051. Physically it is identical apart from this wiring. The rating plate on the side do have a slightly different no on each. The old one has YXW 75-2B, the new one YXW 60-2. I presume this relates to the wattage as they are 75w & 60w respectively. Could I have a different series of motor maybe in the wrong box?

Ah, looking more closely the motor fits the WQP12CBE/2.
A tech manual I have on the WQP12CBE indicates a different part number 012G9370094 😕
I can email the whole document if you like, it’s 3.5mb though 😯

Thanks for the info Dave. Managed to talk to Soveriegn today (they import these from China apparantly). There are only 3 types of motor for this range of machine. I should get a part no for this motor (3 wire) tomorrow. The man at Soveriegn is getting all 3 motors in front of him and physically check the wiring before sending it to me. Apparantly the manufacturer has been known to change the spec but not the part no’s and not tell anybody. I’m sure by the time I manage to repair this the cx will have moved on to another machine. 🙄
Cheers
Mark

And Haier wonder why they get such a poor reception from service engineers 🙁
