    Re: Haier service

As Dave says, to my knowledge also all refrigeration service is carried out by EAC, non-refrigeration I’ve honestly no idea if there is a set path or what it is. I can tell you that British Gased used to do the service on non-refrigerated product but they kicked Haier out, “alledgedly” due to extremely high failure and recall rates.

Would Haier switch the Maytag service, well who knows? But I can tell you one thing for sure, until it settles down and all becomes clear I wouldn’t be taking on any Maytag or Haier work and I most certainly wouldn’t be investing in stock to service an existing contract. In fact I’d be shedding as much stock as quickly as I could until I knew what was going off to minimise my potential exposure to risk.

However, the Haier/Maytag deal is far from done and there’s now an element of politics involved with the US Senate as well as a financial penalty to Ridgewood so I doubt that this saga will run for a bit yet. Which is great, gives people time to get shot of stocks. 😉
