    Model: PVI 640 C

    Candy induction hob

All 4 rings previously worked, however the left two (front and back) have recently ceased working. I am sure that this is not caused by the pan or pan contents as I have tested the pan with the same contents on both of the right two rings, and it works fine.

When I move the pans back over to the left rings, it gives the “pan not detected” signal on the panel.

I’ve looked through the instructions and online and I can’t see any explanations for this. Is it the case that the pan sensor circuit links the two left rings perhaps, and something may have burnt out on that side only?

    Thanks in advance.

Try putting the grill pan out of your oven on the left hand hobsto See if it does the same if it does you could be looking at a faulty pcb

The pan I am using works on the right hand two rings, when I slide it over to the left ones they don’t come on.

I’ve had the same issue and in fact this was the problem, a faulty pcb.
