Halogen ring and light not working…most likely cause?

I have a Diplomat Select 620 electric oven and Diplomat hob. One of the large halogen rings on the hob has stopped working, along with the master light that signals when a ring is switched on. All the other rings work fine. Is it likely to be something I can have a go at fixing myself or am I better getting somebody in?

Hi Jono,

They are a bit of a pain to get into TBH, it sounds like the regulator but the only way to be sure is to get in there and test it out with a multi-meter.
