I am having to replace our 21-year old integrated fridge freezer, which has two fascia doors in a 70/30 split. The new appliance is a single door item, also integrated. What do I need to join the two doors to make one?

    Hi

You can “brace” the two together using thin strips of metal screwed to the inside of the door panels. Not always successful as the two tend to flex.

Have you checked the new door size is the same as the old combined ones? I have also seen people try to cut doors to fit which usually ends in a botched job which doesn’t look good at all.

If it were me I would take the small door around the kitchen suppliers and invest in a new single door even if you cannot find an exact match it will probably be close.

    HTH 😀
