I tried to check on a part on the AWI website last night but found the site was down.

Again check today and still not working. Phone AWI to order some spares but the call goes straight onto their answer phone which is very unusual.

Does anyone know what’s happening at the moment?

I too have tried today to order parts, both website and phone. Anyone in the vicinity see anything in the newspapers?

we had a delivery from them on monday ? Web site still down and straite to answer phone 🙁 doesent sound good …

i was told today by afriend in the trade that he was told ceased trading he got amag from connect

There are strange things afoot.
We’ve dealt with AWI for several years but a quick companies house check says the date of incorporation is 4-11-2010

Not sure what you were looking at, my search gives correct address and incorporation 20/08/1986

Yeah I know, but if check out companies house for AWI Microwaves ltd, it shows up as the date I posted.

My contact on the ground sent me this email.

Hi Don
Went over to AWI today and found a guy in the workshop. He was fairly tight lipped and all he would say was that AWI was in “suspended trading” and mail shots will be going out in the next few days. If you have any questions to put to him I will have a go monday.
