Yes, I know, should just tell ’em to throw it in the skip 😯 Thought I’d try to help this elderly couple if I could.

Machine wil run for 10secs and then abort prog giving 7 flashes.

Anyone got experience of these bundles of joy?

Checked for motor issues, nothing obvious to see.

    Thanks,

    Eddie.

Have you got a photo of it?

If we can figure out where it came from, who made it, then the fault codes are probably already known.

Looks like a Midea machine made in China, sorry made in PRC. 😉

Should be similar to the Zanussi and Amica etc. clones that are about.

It’s made by Haeir. 7 flashes is a motor fault. Usually toc in motor open circuit. If you have the serial number I can send you the manual.

Thanks for quick replies guys. Checked motor for continuity and leakage.

Might be worth checking motor relay on PCB and wiring between the two, the wiring seemed particularly unsupported I noticed.

I think these machines are pushed by that retailer of quality….Argos :rolls:

    Thanks,

    Eddie.
