The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) have issued a warning to businesses throughout the UK to look out for ‘bogus’ letters asking for payments of between £125 and £249 to comply with ‘Health & Safety Legislation’.

The three firms sending out this false information, look convincing enough but please make note of the following addresses and throw any letters you receive from them in the bin :-

Health And Safety Enforcement Agency (HSEA) … they demand £125 for “a Compliance Pack”. 👿

Health And Safety Compliance Agency (HSCA) …wanting a “Registration Fee” of £129.25 👿

Health And safety Registration Enforcement Division (HSRED) …requesting up to £245 for “Registration” 👿

All 3 have addresses in the North of England and have nothing whatsoever to do with the genuine HSE that is based in London. They do however have a legitimate ‘Starter Pack’ that costs a lowly £30. Further details are available via their website : –

    or by telephone : 08701 545500 🙂

If I get one I will use my normal reaction; fill in the form with a fictitious name and address, usually Donald Duck Egg Producers Ltd. If you have Monopoly at home, copy some monopoly money ad enclose it, remove your name and address from the form and send in an unstamped envelope.
Do not forget to advise Trading Standards of the firm’s activity.

    Shane.
