    HI THERE,

OPEN QUESTION: DO YOU USE HEAT DEFLECTORS WHEN YOU INSTALL A BUILT IN OVEN.

What do you mean by heat deflectors?

You get deflector plates on some built-in ovens to use whilst grilling if it’s a model that requires grilling with the door open.

You can, for some machines, get a trim that fits around the face of the oven to try to protect the adjacent doors from being scorched.

Other than that I can’t think of any.

    Re: HEAT DEFLECTORS

When fitting a built in oven to a housing that has vinyl or plastic covered doors it is advisable to fit heat deflectors as the vinyl or plastic coated doors do have a habit of peeling when placed in close proximity to heat,we advise that a minimun of 20mm gap between oven and said doors.
    hope this helps
