Heat Resistant String

Hi folks.

Anybody out there happy to sell me about a metre of heat resistant(used to be asbestos in the good old days) string. Need to repair the spiral elements on a very old “Cotto” dryer. I can get the spiral elements OK, but the nearest I can find to the string is about 20 quids worth under a Hoover part number. I would like to be able to repair this for this dear old lady if I can.

The Hotpoint 93 series spiral elements includes a couple of metres of the stuff I think you’re on about? 😉

Thats the stuff, but I dont need the elements, they are far too long.

It looks like Qualtex do the elements I need for this application, but they do need supporting.

HTR43 is under a fiver from Qualtex – I know what I’d do 😀 .
