Heater for Zanussi dishwasher model DE6854

I think my heater has gone on my dishwasher as it is going through the drying cycle but it is not actually drying or even feeling warm afterwards. Could anybody please give me some information on obtaining and fitting a new one. Many thanks. Al

Could you find the production number (PNC) please from the rating plate, it will begin 911…….

There are several versions of this model 🙂

Thanks for getting back to me Dave. The PNC is 911915058/01. Do you think it will be the heater or is there an internal fuse that I could check. Basically my dishwasher goes through all of the cycles but at the end everything is still wet and cold.

Is there an economy setting that has been selected, this turns the drying off on certain models ?

The appliance would go in to error mode if the heater had failed and display a code normally.

If the settings are all OK, I would suggest an engineer to be honest, electronically controlled appliance so it could be a number of things 😉

It has got an economy cycle but I always use the normal cycle. It doesn’t show any faults during the drying cycle and it still makes a noise but when it finishes and I open the door it is cold inside.
