Heater on during rinse

I have a Bosch Classixx 1200 express.
During every programme that I have tried, the heater operates during all rinse cycles.
The cold fill is definitely cold.
The power consumption increases by 2.2kw when washing (as expected), but also during rinses.
This also happens using “Rinse” programme.
Washing is OK but always comes out hot and more creased than it should be.
I would be grateful if anyone could help find a fix, or is it time to replace it?!

heater relay on the timer board has stuck closed.
There is a pressure switch that detects water level and stop the heater coming on with no water in but as soon as it fills the heater turns on and if given long enough it will boil
