I have been renting a place for a number of months. It has a hygena deluxe oven. It takes about 50 minutes to get to the hottest oven temperature – I would love to tell you what that is but the numbers have rubbed off the dial. Using the grill earlier (i moved the tray to the highest level) I toasted a crumpet – It took 14 minutes to be lightly toasted. My landlord says that it is normal. I sense he is misguided in his knowledge about ovens. Can anyone who is knowledgeable with such things please give me some guidance? Please any advice would be good. Thanks b

If it’s one of the cheap ones, it’s probably not that far off the mark. They really weren’t very good.

But without a model number it’s not really possible to say a lot more.
