    Hi all

Does anyone know which machine this is a clone of or even more specifically what fill valve it uses – been told that its not filling so suspect valve but would like to take one with me when I go to see it.

    Thank you in advance.

HEC = Hong Kong Electric Company = Haier/Midea. Personally, I’d refuse the job. I do have some standards to maintain.

That bad are they? – perhaps that is why I can’t even find mention of them on connect.

Unfortunately as I am still in my first year I can’t afford to be too picky about what I take on.

Chinese dishwashers have known ploblem with connection to water flow meter (reed switch thing sticking into side of metering tank behind left hand side panel.)

Flow meter failure won’t stop it filling. It might time out or it might flood. Inlet valve is most likely culprit. Think 10 year old Indesit – it’s the same machine, just worse; so you need a single coil, straight through valve if you really feel that you have to fix it.
