Can you give us the three flashing lights by number from top down. Ignoring the mains/door lock light.

😥
F07, heater relay faulty on main PCB, it could be poor wiring connections but the PCB’s on these are very unreliable.
Options,
1. New PCB £100, smart card to programme PCB £20, card reader to use the card to programme the board approx £100.2. The Indesit Company may do this repair for labour only but they (or at least the insurance company that all their calls are routed through ) will try and talk you into laying out around £180 for the repair and 12 months warranty on the rest of the machine.
3. Send the PCB to one of the online PCB repair companies.
4. Repair the PCB yourself.
5. Find a decent local independent who may well be able to do the repair for less than the Indesit Company.
6. You may well have guessed already what this one is. 😉

if its open circuit then you must change it.It is very difficult to get a used heater back in again. F07 is heater not the module

yeah i have ordered one mate and when you say module are you on about the pcb so f07 is the element???? so that should be the only problem?? id be happy with that 🙂

yes, replacing the heating element should cure the fault. Not the pcb (module)

No problem, however F07 is also a heater relay fault, F07 for an O/C heater should only show when the pressure switch is in empty position, not when the machine has water in it.
If the heater alone is faulty then what normally happens is that the machine just sticks in the wash cycle without advancing any further but without error lights flashing.
That said the PCB’s on these are so ticklish that anything is possible, fingers crossed that the new element sorts it out for you. 😀
Off now to edit our ‘Error Codes thread’ 😉

to be honest mate ive only seen the lights a couple of times and it has been stuck in the wash cycle untill you manually change it to a spin without any lights??? maybe i have two faults lol that would be my luck hahaha aslo while i am here what is the little metal thing that pushes inside the element is it the pressure swich or a thermostat???

Its the NTC or thermistor (electronic temperature sensor) a new element usually includes a new NTC but keep it safe just in case.
If you only saw the flashing lights after you reset it to spin/drain then it would flash F07 for an O/C heater, F07 with water in is usually the PCB.

it flashed about 1min after i put it on program 9 (wash cycle) so i would say it had water in it??? but i wernt really paying much notice to the water?? il fit the element and see what happends??

You have very little to lose given the cost differential. 8)
What can ( and does ) happen is that the heater relay sticks on, the heater comes on with no water in and then the non reset internal overheat protection built into the heater cuts out giving an O/C heater.
