ParticipantHi,
I hope that is the right model name for a start.
Just two days ago the dishwasher kept stopping mid cycle. Then I discovered that if you push the door a bit – it started again. ie it seemed that the door contacts were not meeting adequately?
Then on closer examination I can see that on the left hand side the door is not closing flush against the door seal. In fact one can see steam escaping from the top corner where the door doesn’t meet it’s seal.
Interestingly when I first bought the dishwasher I saw some steam escaping and, of course, when I called the engineer around it didn’t do it, and has never done it since.
Anyhow is there any way of adjusting the door so that it closes straight. I hope I’ve described the problem adequately. In short the door suddenly doesn’t seem to close properly flat against it’s seal.
ONe final thought – could adjusting the feet on the dishwasher affect the lie of the door?
Many thanks for any help

Totally, and that’s where your problem lies I expect? The machine has to be totally level and on solid ground to enable the door to align with the cabinet. 😉

Time to get my spirit level out then? Actually that was a serious point. Is that how one does it with a spirit level? If so, do you just use the level on the top of the machine or on the sides as well.
Many thanks – I hope it works.
One other question though… can one actually adjust the door itself (i.e. like on kitchen cupboard doors where you can adjust the hinges).
Thanks again

ParticipantWhen the door is lowered , does it stay level at 90* to the main body of the machine ? I have seen a couple of machines where the customer has fallen/leant on the dishwasher door which has caused the inner door panel , adjacent to the hinges to bend out of shape and so cause the door to drop down too much .
So , in them cases , the hinges were fine but it was the bent inner door panel that was causing the door not to close properly. On one of them , you could actually see that the door was skewed . Check by the hinges on the inner door panel to make sure there’s no obvious bends/dents
