Help choosing new tumble dryer

We have a Hotpoit CDT00 that has been repaired by myself as a result of the good folk here on UK whitegoods.

However it is now very noisy and annoying, even after the drum guides have been repaired.

We are wanting to get a new dryer but it must be as quiet as possible and due to its location it has to be a condensor unit.

Does anybody have any reccomendations for a new 7Kg+ capacity quiet (within reason obv) dryer up to £400.

although changing the 2 fans on you ctd will probably cure that problem

Sounds like it might be worth looking into this fan issue first.

Do I need to put a thread in the help section of the forum, or can I ask about the fans and part numbers etc in here?

Front fan – p/no 1702998.
Rear fan – p/no 1703002.

spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will be able to supply them for you.

yup, and its usually the 1703002 that causes the problem, and theyre always a lot quieter when you change it
