Most likely you have had a ‘foam-up’ which has overflowed into the base pan in which case you need to carefully tip the machine backwards at 45o and let the pan drain (towels down to collect the water)
With luck there will be no damage from the water so try it again and let us know how you get on?
Don’t forget to unplug before you do anything :zap:March 22, 2007 at 7:42 pm #208647jamjar222

We have just tried to tip but no water came out, a bit came out of the white pipe but thats it. We have an intergrated dishwasher, would this make a difference.
There is still some water in the hole where the filter goes, is this what should drain away?? Or is that allways there?
Could you suggests what we should do next many thanks.

Hi Karen,
Not such an easy one. 😕
At a guess, if it’s fun through with washing up liquid, it’ll be a mess internally and need cleaned out, especially the fill chamber and base, transfer tubes etc. before it will work correctly again. I’d recommend some professional help as it’s not going to be a two minute job I shouldn’t think as, while it’s faulted, you can’t run a cold rinse which would help break down the foaming.
