    Help please! My Whirlpool DFW 416 is not doing anything! Lights are on, can cycle through the programs, start light comes on when pressed, but NOTHING happens when the door is closed.

    Have tried turning off at the wall, have tried holding start button to cancel program and start again. Have also tried starting diagnostics holding start down when turning on (picked up from another post on this forum).

    So far, no joy. Already tired of washing by hand!!

    maybe check door interlock and connections

    Thanks, will check this weekend – no time so far!

    It seems to lock in place ok, so maybe a loose/broken connection? Is it reasonably easy to access if I take the front panel off?
