I have (unfortunately) a hoover logic “frost free” freezer. the problem is that every 3-4 months, the fan seizes due to frost build up. I had it repaired (alledgedly) under warranty & the guy replaced the PCB. This made no difference & the warranty is now out.
If I defrost the machine it works fine for another 3-4 months but this is a PITA! 🙁
I want to know if there is a way to actually access the fan without removing the evaporator (which would obviously result in loss of gas!)
This way I could defrost it quickly with a hair dryer without food loss 💡Is there an online parts diagram I could see?
Anyone know a good make of CONVENTIONAL freezer? as soon as we have money we are going to dump this piece of crap & get one with no PCBs, fans & stuff to go wrong! My last LEC lasted 20 years & I only got rid ‘cos the drawers were broken!
