ParticipantHi
I’m getting a new kitchen fitted, and in order to save space as the kitchen is very small it has been recommended that I stack the condenser tumble dryer on top of the washing machine. I have managed to find some stacking unit kits BUT the ones I have found:
are suitable for machines with depth upto 56 cm (my dryer is 57cm in depth)
aren’t suitable for dryers with water collecting unit at the bottom (this is where it is on my dryer)
not suitable for slighly rounded front fascias on washing machines (mine is rounded slightly). The plan was to stack these with a brick wall at one side and fridge freezer at the other. My washing machine is a Servis Caress 1200, and tumble dryer is a Crusader. There is an aftersales sticker on with model number 37667 and serial number 44100617. I got the dryer second hand, and didn’t receive a manual with this.
Does anyone know of a suitable stacking unit I could use for these two machines? Many thanks

Can’t you just have a worktop above the washer and sit the dryer on the worktop? As a repairer, this is always the preferred option 😉 Obviously you would need enough room for legs or a support panel at the fridge freezer end of the worktop.

Thanks for the replies. The idea of using ply board with the appliance shocks is a good idea which I had not thought of. Realistically they will have a wall on one side and fridge freezer on the other (with wall behind) so they will be packed in anyway.
I don’t know what brand the tumble dryer is unfortunately. I bought it second hand. It says Crusader on the front, with a serial number I quoted in my original post. I’ve looked all round it, but can’t see any other markings.
Thanks
