    Our Hotpoint Combination 8564 appears to have a problem.
    The RED light is always on ( Several hours ) but I can;t hear the compressor running. We did put several packs of fresh chicken pieces in the freezer sometime before noticing the red light was on. The only other thing that happened around the same time is that there was a power cut for about 30 seconds.

    Any help please?

    Sounds very compressor related, which isn’t good news.

    Could be a thermostat which you can get here but I’d doubt it, it sounds more compressor related to me.
