hygena diswasher apl8212

Can someone help i have a dishwasher as above and got a slight problem

when the door is closed it won’t work ??
when the door is open it works ??

Anyone with any ideas ?

The door latching mechanism is broken/damaged more than likely.

Please ensure appliance is unplugged before attempting any repairs yourself, or uf you’re unsure call an engineer, it shouldn’t be too much of a job to be honest.

If you need help with an engineer, there’s loads here, just pop you’re postcode up.
