    Hi There,

I wonder if anyone can suggest how I stop the sparking on one of my Gas rings.

I pressed it to turn it on a kept my finger on the button for to long and now it is driving us all crazy.

I have turned the cooker off but it still keeps trying to ignite the gas ring.

    Thank you.

You dont need to be gas safe to advise on this fault, you need ignition switchs if you have a constant ticking on your ignition or pull the knob off the facia it will pull straight off, and push back on

You still need to be gas safe to fit the ignition switches. Call a gas safe engineer to sort it.
