Help! Indesit goes directly to END of program

Make/model: Indesit WIXE 127 ES

Symptoms:
1. If unplugged from wall plate and then reinserted and started the machine always starts in TEST mode. After the test mode which runs for about 30 mins and everything seems OK it goes to flashing END.
2. If I choose any program and press START the machine goes to flashing END in 1 second, the door lock does not even light up.
3. No error is displayed.

I did replace the 24C64 eeprom after successful reprogramming but the machine acts exactly the same.

What should I do next?

Almost definitely a board fault. Check the board for burnt tracks. If they are burnt, you will need to get an engineer to sent it away for repair.

Unfortunately this is very common on Indesits as the electronics are rubbish, 50/50 whether it’s actually worth repairing.

I was afraid of that, could it be the door lock mechanism? Alltho in the test mode the lock sign lights up?
