Help needed on Hoover VT616

Hi all,

I was after a bit of advice, I have a hoover vt616 repair and it is dead and I cannot see why there is voltage into the control board so my first thought was that was the fault but then second thought was maybe the selector is not waking the machine up. I have both pcb’s with me and both look fine. I have checked what I can with my meter. Am I missing something obvious?

Thank you, Will the door switch kill the machine dead, it is completely dead no lights, cannot select a program.

Is there a way I can move this to the correct area?

Its tricky to determine which board is at fault, I would always go with the control board with a dead fault.
Vision tech boards, both main and selector are a pretty good price too.
