Morning all I am really hoping someone can help!
Last week my whirlpool fridge freezer (ARC5553/IS 8501 555 15161) completely stopped chilling and freezing. I did some research online and a number of people suggested taking off the monoblock/starter from the compressor to see if it had burnt out. I did this and it had in fact blown (burn marks on the bottom and that burnt out motor smell). The problem I have is that I assumed that when I ordered the new part it would come with installation instructions, it didn’t! This is the part in question … http://www.4whirlpool.co.uk/monoblock/product.pl?pid=2023924&query=monoblockSo, I now have two sets of wiring 1. from the mains plug (Brown, Blue & Earth) 2.from the fridge unit (Earth, Brown, Black & Grey) and the component with 12 connectors on it and I am not confident enough with electrics to fit it all together and plug it into the mains.
Is there anybody who could help me by giving some clear instructions on how to wire this up please?
