    Hi there,
My Hotpoint Aquarius has died! It originally had the error code H20 which meant it wasn’t filling with water, checked hoses, inlets etc and there didn’t seem to be a problem and now the code has suddenly changed to F-01 which apparently means ‘short circuit motor triac’.
Is there anything I can do to repair this? It’s 5 years old and out of warranty.
    Thanks,
    Carmen

Oh dear! That means the motor has blown the main circuit board, shucks! Motor and circuit board are an arm and a leg plus VAT. 🙁

Bother. Thanks for getting back to me. Looks like a new machine is in order then 🙁
Any ideas for cheap but reliable?!

We can tell you which machines are cheap , we can tell you which machines are reliable. Common sense dictates that they are mutually exclusive. 😉

Thanks for that!! 🙂 Was hoping for a secret exception to that rule!
I’ll rephrase – what’s the cheapest reliable machine out there at present?! 🙂
