I have had an Indest WG1233T for 8 years and it has solidly worked through 6 loads a day every day of the week, it was not once repaired until yesterday when it blew up, as it was 8 years old im deciding to buy a new one!

I am thinking either about another Indesit or a Hotpoint(my friend has a 17 year old hotpoint which has never needed to be repaired), now I have heard that Indesit have problems with circuit boards, and I have heard that new Hotpoint machines eat bearings at an alarmingly high rate, and go through motors like theyre going out of fashion.

is any of this true and which brand would you reccomend? I have a set budget of £279 MAX

    Thanks

Bosch WFL2067GB 1000 spin or WFO2467GB 1200 spin. Both come with two year guarantee subject to registration.

Not keen on Bosch at all, I have had a bosch before (my first ever machine was 1) and it caught fire so Bosch is a NO NO!!

Couple of Whirlpools and a Zanussi meet your price mark. Check on http://www.comet.co.uk.
