Hi,

My washing machine… which is a Hoover New Wave Plus 5…

My Soap dispenser drawer is leaking, when in a wash cycle water pours out of the front at the bottom edge of the drawer… after my Dad’s advice… I’ve taken it out and given it a thorough cleaning… but it still does it..

He says I probably need a new drawer… but I’ve had problems trying to find a spare part online.. simply because I’m female and have no idea where to look LOL

Just wondered if anyone could assist me in sourcing a spare part, and how much it will cost me, or if I can go to my local currys or comet or somewhere like that and order a spare part…

I’ve lost the manual in the move (moved house recently) so I can’t phone the Hoover helplines or anything like that.

I’m sure it’d be dead simple if I could find the damn manual.

Can anyone assist?

Carol,

You will probably need a modified Dispenser Assembly (Part No : 09090275 – cost about £35-£38 😉 )

Try turning the taps down a little in case the flow is too great and ensure the machine is level also 😉
