    Hi,

Never had to replace shock absorbers on Bosch autos before.

On this model the plastic pin attaching the shock to the tub seems permanently fixed. The new shocks contain a terribly poor quality photo copy of a diagram showing how they are fitted and scant poorly translated instructions – can’t make head nor tail of it. 😕

It seems some drilling has to take place and the tub is shown outside of the casing.

Can anyone throw light on this replacement procedure please?

    Many thanks,
    Laurence

You need a 13.5mm drill bit and you drill the hole through where the existing plastic peg is you do need to remove front panel to do this and I remove pump and sump hose for easier access do 1 end at the time Bosch have now changed the kit so you use a plastic peg instead which I haven’t used yet but that’s ho you do it 😉
