First posting… Bosch dishwasher SGS45c02BG has activated the anti flood device. I removed the r/h panel and mopped up the water (to de-activate the a/flood) then put it on a rinse cycle. Withing seconds water started to drip from behind the recirculating pump.
Any ideas what part needs replacing, and if it’s do-able from the side, or do I have to lie it on it’s back and remove the sump?
I decided to have a go….. I removed the sump tray, tilted the machine over and removed the recirculation impeller pump motor. The O Ring appears in good condition, as does the fleible hose above the impeller housing. The finger of suspicion points to seal at the rear of the impeller housing! From the underside and with the aid of a small screwdriver I managed to partly prise the old one out and then pulled it out with pliers. There you go I’ve answered my own question! Hope others find this useful.
