My Diplomat Dishwasher is not working properly
    The Model is ADP 8520
It is making awful bleeping sounds, half way through the cycle. 10 bleeps pause then 10 bleeps until we use the main switch.
On opening the door the 1st 3rd and 4th lights are on.
Also there is water in the base that doesnt seem to want to drain.
We have checked the u bend and that is clear i have emptied the filters and they were also clear…ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT
    Thanks in advance

Another Haier Chinese one…….. Light code doesn’t come up as a recognised one, so No.1 son has probably caused the base underneath to flood.

Proceed as follows – Remove plug. Drag machine out of housing. Lay plenty of towels at the back of the machine and slowly lean it back. When the flow stops, it should reset itself.

Future use – Stop using multi-function tablets. They generate excessive foam, which this machine will not tolerate. Secondly, once the programme has started, never, ever open the door until it’s finished…….

Apart from that, it’s a brilliant piece of kit . If the problem recurs, bearing in mind the above comments, you may have a deeper rooted problem which will have to be investigated further.

Hi, bit of a problem…..Does that mean i have to take off all the plinth at the bottom of my new fitted kitchen????
I am not the tidiest of folk and wonder if i should wait and contact a plumber????
Is there any other way of getting rid i have manually emptied it with a small cup once today and it did start up agin, hwever about 20 mins into the cycle it stopped and repated as before.

Not the water in the tub, the water in the tray under the machine. Yes, plinth has to go, machine out, proceed as outlined above. Plumbers know lots about water and nothing about appliances, so if you don’t know how to do this, use the link below for a UKW appliance engineer in your area.
