help please samsung washing machine error

I have a Samsung cold fill 712 killo big wash washing machine in the past I have had a couple of spin probs but has been ok for a while, suddenly an error has occured E1 I thopught it was a spin error so I put the wash on spin and it worked, when looking at the wash I realised it had not washed so I removed some of the wash and tried again, it started to fill and then stopped with the E1 error again which I now understand is a fill error my only prob now is that the machine wont turn on any more so I dont know if this is the sole error, can anyone advise me, I have tried diconecting and reconecting, it has been over 24 hours now annd it still will not turn on completely dead thanks for any advice carmine 😕

Hi Carmine,

I’d suspect that the faults are not related and that you’ve got a power problem. Have you checked the fuse in the plug?

Hi kwatt thank you for your promp reply, it is not the plug and when I hold in the power button I can smell burning so I think it may be something on the powerboard shorting, is there anyway I can isolate the prob thanks carmine

I have found the prob there is a burned out ic on the mains board as I worked in electronics for several years I was able to check the board is there any way I can purchase a new mains board through yourselves or do I need to go through Samsung thanks again for your valuable help much apreciated carmine
