    Hi,
We have an urgent problem and are wondering if anyone can give us any help?
My fiance opened the oven door earlier and one side came completely away. We have a Hygena Turbo AHY3220. Basically, the left hand leverage mechanism has come out of its socket and try as we might we cannot get it to go back in. It may simply be a question of brute force (small hole and curved leverage bit) but we don’t want to bend/damage the oven if this is not the case. The left hand mechanism appears different from the right one. We have managed to remove the entire door completely, but can see no way to proceed.

Can anyone please, please offer us any advice?

    Many thanks,
    Camilla.

    This should help:

Basically you need to lock the hinges in the “door open” position as if you were removing the door to clean, not an easy operation I’m afraid, careful not to shatter the outer glass panel…

Thank you so much! Amazing! We couldn’t work out how it worked, and so how to fix it, because the lock had actually stuck inside the rest of the mechanism, so wouldn’t fit back into the hole because the angle was all wrong. One video, some insight, a lot of WD40 and a hammer and we are totally good to go. 😀

And out of sheer frustration, the inside of the oven is now spotless.

Can’t thank you enough, especially for such a quick response at such a late hour,

    Camilla.

p.s. merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
