Help required – Fagor Elegance Washing Machine

I have acquired a Fagor Elegance washing machine, model number FU 1358 and have no instruction manual and there is no numbers for cycles on the machine!!

Does anyone have one of these machines and can you tell me where I can get an instruction manual, or what number to use for a normal 40 degree wash?

This one has a separate temperature control, so as long as you select 40c on the dial you won’t discolour anything! Programmes will be split into groups – Cottons, Easy Cares and Wool or Delicates. I’d try the second position in the cotton group for a starter…….

Fagor UK’s web site appears to be inoperative at present, so I can’t check whether you can download a manual or not.

Thanks for the reply penguin, but I don’t know what colour is for cottons, etc. There seems to be a dial with some numbers against a yellow background (4, 5, 6) and some against a white background.

I guess if I just turn the temperature to 40 degrees and set it on 4 or 5 then that won’t shrink anything?

Hi folks, I am just about to inherit one of these machines, not very old at all but doesn’t spin at top speed. Does anyone know if they use a system like Candy which has the split pulley with the centrifugal weights? Thanks

Carbon brush motor with electronic control. Don’t forget that Fagor tend to use the “out-for-on” system with buttons. Also, you normally only get full spin speed on the cottons programmes.
