I have a General Electric large capacity tumble dryer. It was unused for a fortnight as we were on holiday. When I returned and used it, there was a dull, rhythmic (for the want of a better description) scraping noise as the drum turns. To confuse matters, the problem comes and goes, seems to have cured itself for a while, then it happens again.
Everything else is okay, good heat etc, just this intermittent scraping noise.
Any ideas?
