help smeg dwf 409 ss stopped working!

can anyone help? my dishwasher jsut stopped working yesterday,

i’ve tried everything, it just stopped mid cyle with water in base, think my sink drain was blocked, I’ve cleared that and managed to drain the wter out the base of the disher by draining into a washing up bowl and pressing each programe button in turn which then pumped a little bit of water each time.

but now it wont do anything, i press the program button and it just beeps then clunks and stops as if it is locked and cant do anything!

is there a way I can reset it I’ve tried everything else!!!!

it is a smeg DWF 409 SS and is 4 years old?

hi it ramdomly changes, first i thought it was an error code 1
but now now sure
some times all the lights are on, sometimes the last 3 on the right hand side.

if I switch it on then off then try to start a program it beeps as if the programe is going to start then makes all the starting sounds then just stops dead within a few seconds?

Any ideas? 😀

hi thank you for that, I guess the simple answer is scrap it! oh well i’ll be washing up by hand for a long time to come 🙁
