I am looking for some one to help me with the correct connections in order to wire a Ranco Type K59-P3102 thermostat correctly. The fridge freezer has the following wires terminated with female metal spades:

x2 Green/yellow wires that are separate from each other with a female spade on each
x2 Brown wires that are combined onto one female spade with a plastic shroud
x1 White wire with female spade, no shroud
x1 Red wire with female spade, no shroud
x2 White wires that have a more flexible vinyl sheath (that gives the total wire lead diameter of may be 1mm more when compared to the others). These separate wires both have plastic shrouds on each female spade

The broken thermostat has 3 male spade connections in the centre body and 2 external metal male spades on the thermostat (that I believe will connect to the above green/yellow wires). The new replacement thermostat is identical to the old one and has the same number of male spade connections.

Unfortunately I didn’t get to disconnect the thermostat so I can’t be sure of the correct wiring. Any help and advice including diagrams or pics would be gratefully received. The fridge freezer is quite old (early 1980s) but up until now as been trouble free.
    Many thanks in advance.

    Hi Meccano

Sadly forum rule number 8 restricts us from supplying wiring diagrams.

You never know someone may be able to point you in the right direction.

This reply will “bump” the topic back to the top for you.

Thanks Don for drawing my attention to that.
May be some one out there might have a digital photo of a in situ thermostat they could post to help me out?
