Hi, I have an Indesit combined washer/dryer which is completely dead. I’ve removed the power/control circuit board (215007396) and noticed two of the tracks leading to connector CNF are completely burned out. The board looks repairable but I’m thinking that most likely another component external to the board has failed and is drawing too much current, so If I repair the board it will fail immediately again.

I’ve not been able to find what component, connector CNF feeds. Would anyone happen to know?

    Many thanks.
    Nigel.

have you traced the wires from the connector ?

also post the model as none of us will recognise the board numbers

Thanks Dave, I’ll have another go at tracing the wires later, when I’m back home. Will check on the model then too.

No such model number, is it silver by any chance, that would make it a WD12S, 😉
That connector is mainly for the fill valves which very rarely ( never seen one ) cause this problem, the dryer fan motor which again is not likely to cause this plus the door switch which is a very common cause of board failures.

Also worth noting that this machine was very prone to leaking from the dryer assembly down onto the PCB another common cause of this fault.
