Hello, my tumble dryer has been making a low rumbling sound so I`ve taken it apart to look for the problem as can’t afford to have an engineer out. From what I’ve read it could be the rear bearing, support wheels or tension pulley wheels. Tension pulley wheels look OK. I think the rear wheel bearing is OK but I’m not 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} so please see pictures but not too sure about the drum support wheels and whether these are worn and the source of the issue? They seem quite stiff to turn, I can’t spin to they point they continue to spin on their own
Should they be able to spin that freely? Thank you for any help at all, I didn’t even know what a circlip was prior to this adventure….

    Will upload pictues below

They do look like they need changing but I would check the tensioners black wheel things on motor which the belt runs on, your rear bearing is fi e I would suggest putting some copper slip grease on that rear bearing, also check the front of the drum where them wheels sit as this could be your problem
