help with dead Tricity bendix oven

Hi, can anyone help with the followin problem.

Trixity Brendix Manor House WS630B

A bit of background to this fault first. All was working ok, and then we turned the oven on one day and it would appear to be dead, then maybe 15 seconds later it would just turn on and all light come on etc. It did this one or two times. Then after that it was just dead no power at all. The hob still working ok.

I had a look at the oven and stripped it down (im a electronics engineer but not on ovens more on TVs) i found that the round fan element at the back was burnt out and short, i ordered a replacement and fitted, as that was faulty anyway, but the oven is still dead. Any ideas where to look next, is there any hidden internal fuses anywhere, or would this element take anything out with it when it blew ?

could be a faulty toc or the timer has failed
