    Hi All

My cooker hood fan doesn’t seem to be working. The fan feels very weak and I think it’s making a weird noise. I’ve linked to a video so you can hear the noise. What coukd be the fault?

    Thank you!

well when was the last time you changed the filter ?

can hear noise you are talking about as audio is not good enough to hear it properly but if you think its making a noise check the fan is not loose or out of shape first

Thanks for the reply. I just moved into this place. I removed the filter and I’m washing it now. I opened the fan and it seems that there was a loose sticker label which was hitting the fan and making the rattling noise.

I removed it, closed everything up but now the fan isn’t working at all x_x. I put everything back in the same place so I don’t understand why it won’t work now

So I realised that some of these hoods don’t work without the cover. I had tried to turn it on without the cover.

I put the cover back on and it now works! No rattling noise anymore. So much work cause by that little loose label. Thanks for you advice!
