    Hi,

    I have a Bosch dishwasher…. SGV53E03GB/55 (FD 8507) integrated.

I can’t seem to find anywhere the explanation of the way to test (and the explanation of the LED lights) this machine.

It has 4 LEDs and then 5 LEDs on the wash cycle buttons.

When i press the two “reset” buttons (and off and on), the 50º stays on, and the 35º flashes. any idea what this means. (then when switched off and on again the selected cycle 65º LED comes back on)

The issue i have with the machine is that is doesn’t seem to be cleaning properly… and i don’t think the water is heating up… (but there is heat generated at the end)

    any help gratefully appreciated.

I get the feeling you aren’t resetting the machine correctly (though exactly why you should want reset it to escapes me). Press both the 65 and the 35 in together and hold in until the ‘End’ led shows. Shut the door and wait 60 secs while the drain pump activates then the machine switches off.

I suspect your problem isn’t anything to do with flashing LED’s or the need to reset the machine though, or mess with the buttons anyway. More likely either the crocks on the bottom basket aren’t washing and those on the top are (or vice versa). Or the spray arms need a good clean perhaps? 😉
