the power was tripped in the house and i turned it back on now the washing machine door lock LED Flashes red serveral times a second follow by other LED’s flashing green the troubleshooting manual says call engineer abnormal fault but i cant currently afford this any ideas? it’s the 1st + 4th green LED’s flashing and the red LED flashing at a faster rate

Afraid you will have to get the Indesit Company to fix this. Your eeprom has become corrupted. This is the small chip on the main PCB that contains all the relevant instructions for your particular model. Their engineers are the only people with the required software to reprogramme this part.

A cheaper option for this fault would be to call Comet Service on 08705 425 425, they have all the Indesit WashDoctor software and facilities to reprogram the machine, cheaper than Indesit themselves.
Oh, and you don’t need to be under guarantee or buy the washer from Comet for them to come out.
