    Have got a 6 year old Bauknecht TRK 5970 condenser dryer which has performed faultlessly until today.

    Problem is the filter light is coming on. The filter is not dirty. There does appear to be a bit of build up of lint below the removable filter. Problem is, if this is what is causing the filter light to come on, how do I get into it to clean it? If I poke around with a screwdriver…..no other way of getting at it from the top……..how do I get at the ‘loosened’ stuff?

    Any help appreciated.

    more likely to be a faulty thermostat/pump/float switch
